My Country - Nuhur
Population
The population of Nuhur would be relatively small. The reason for this is that i think the country would run better with less people and the general population would benefit from being like a big family and knowing most of the people in the country. The way the population would be kept small is by having to apply to enter the country, and only allowing a small number of these applicants to join the country. The ideal population for Nuhur would be around 50 people.
Motto
The motto for Nuhur would be: Honor and respect for one another and enjoy life!
Government
In Nuhur, the government system is somewhat a chain of command. In this chain there would be three ranks, 1- The Alor (first in command), 2- The Cookie Master (second in command), 3- Council member (other members of the "government"). This chain of command makes up a council which runs the country and the The Alor makes the final decision while taking into account what everyone in the country wants.
Election
Because the country is so small and everyone knows each other, there is no need for elections. Instead, when the Alor steps down (or is removed from office for other reasons, ie. death), the Cookie Master will take his/her place and then their first act as the new Alor is to designate a new Cookie Master which will someday take their place.
Constitution
The constitution for Nuhur is that everyone helps everyone when someone needs it and any injuries will be looked after at no cost.
Laws
There is only one law in Nuhur but there is a lot of meaning behind it. The law is to respect everyone and everything in Nuhur, so this means no stealing and things like that as well as to just not bother anyone or break anything (on purpose).
Making Money
Making money in Nuhur is quite simple, so simple in fact that all you have to do is pay resources and then collect. To create the money in Nuhur, resources are needed such as trees to make paper to make bills. All people have to do to make money is to go out into the forest, cut down a tree and give that to the government to turn in to money. This will give a family of 4 enough money for about 6 months. And every tree that is cut down is replanted at the same time.
Taking Holidays
Because people don't really work, there's no need for holidays, in fact it's the opposite. Instead of people taking holidays, they take "workdays". With this system, only a small portion of people in Nuhur have to work at a time, so people sign up for weeks at a time and do jobs such as gathering resources, planting food, etc. and because everyone signs up for the job that they do, people are always getting the job that they want. This system has about 10% of the population doing "harder" jobs such as gathering resources and tending to crops while another 10% is doing "on call" jobs that don't require any constant work and they are just on standby for things such as first aid. This leaves 80% of the population to have free time all the time (except when they are collecting and replanting resources for money, which is not often).
Joining
Because of the way Nuhur is run, tthe population must be kept low. For this reason, joining is nearly impossible if you are not born into Nuhur.
Keeping the Peace
Nuhur is at peace with all the countries in the world for 2 main reasons, 1. they are self sufficient and do not have any need for outside help (most of the time) and 2. they help out other countries whenever they can, and because they have no military if they were to go to war they would be destroyed and no more help would come from them.
